My sister is watching my dogs in Idaho while I am down here in Nevada on a military detachment. They went swimming in a river and during that time frame my female lab ran out of the river to shake off and was run over by a vehicle. Her ribs appear to be broken and she is in a lot of pain. I am anxiously awaiting the results from the vet clinic. :'(

So sorry to hear.
Prayers sent your way for good results and hopefully a speedy recovery.
-
Damn, hope shes alright man.
-
Very sorry to hear this. I hope you get good news and she has a fast recovery.

Just got off the phone. Nothing is busted, but she is very swollen along her ribs and back leg. Minimum of two weeks bed rest and medication. I am so glad that its nothing worse. I literally walked a path in the carpet at the barracks room as I paced back and forth waiting on the phone call.

Man, that must be such a relief! Glad to hear your lab will pull through. She will be happy to see you.

Sorry to hear about your dog. I can't imagine how frustrating that'd be, just not being able to be there with her. I'm happy to hear that she's going to pull through. WOO HOO! I hope she has a speedy recovery.
Thank you for your service :salute:

My sister stated she ate her food today and is up and walking around a little but still does that hiding from sight thing. Just part of a dogs nature when they are hurt. Her brother Kuma cant figure out why she doesn't want to play catch. :chuckle: Yesterday was very stressful waiting for that phone call. I have had her since 2008 and she is a very good dog. Anyone that has hunted with her can contest to that.
