Title: gmu 373 Horse Heaven
Post by: gee_unit360 on June 12, 2015, 08:26:35 PM
Im a muzzle loader hunter and they eliminated my early season in gmu 382 this year. I was considering trying gmu 373 horse heaven for early muzzle this year. It looks like there is limited public land. The regs say there is a wildlife refuge of some sort out there. Having trouble locating it. Does anyone know much about the unit? Many deer? Possibly point me in the general direction of some public land. Im searching all over the internet right now. Thanks.

Very few deer in the unit and spread out. There is some Dept land on the far east end by Finley and the Unit might cover Dept land NW of Benton City.

The refuge is draw only.   It's down on the river.  Patterson/whitcomb

I can point you in the direction of some huntable land, but its a pretty tough hunt, especially with a ml, just because the deer are so sparce, and the country is so open.

using the wdfw go hunt app will show you a few places to hunt, and if you make it over here or live close, I could run you around to a few places showing what I know.
