Title: vortek magnum bullet question
Post by: HoofsandWings on June 14, 2015, 02:58:36 PM
As soon as my hunting buddy gets his ML, he will have to determine which bullet to use.
Does that ML take sabots? I do not know how tight the barrel is.
For now, he needs to practice, so nothing fancy until we are closer to opening day for Elk.

Daughters shoots them just fine but they're all a bit different. Buy a few different bullets around the size you want to use. Test, test, test. I have two friends with the same gun. All three of us are shooting very different loads accurately.

shoots sabots just fine. I'd suggest the 260 or 300 grain harvester scorpion pt gold with this sabot,
