So I'm in the market for a new pack this year, I really love the horn hunter full curl, and the 2015's have an adjustable torso. Not thrilled with their customer service so far, un returned email, fb questions go unanswered, haven't picked up the phone just yet though.
Are there other pack systems that are modular enough to use as a meat hauler I should be looking at in the sub 350$ catagory? I have a long torso (21-22"), so most packs I've looked at don't have functional load lifters, I love the eberlstock team elk, with the stock shoulder straps it won't work, but I think they offer longer straps as an option.
I know both are heavy, but so am i, it'd be cheaper for me to loose 6#, rather then the pack lol. Won't be backpack hunting out of it, but come July and August I do have a couple 2 day trips planned (4-5 miles).
