This will be my step-sons 3rd year hunting. His first year he got a spike buck. Last year was his first year elk hunting. We saw a couple too far away and he missed a doe during deer season. This year he drew Late season muzzy cow tag for Yale. I am so sure he will get his first elk this year. Last year a buddy had the same tag and went were I told him to go and bam, 200 yards from the truck, 30 yard shot, 2 minutes after shooting light, flat ground back to the truck opening day, they were right where I told him. I hope it works out the same. If not I may ask for a little help since that one area I know is tiny and I don't know any others in the unit. But I am pretty sure they will be there again.

Shoot me a PM if you end up needing some areas in Yale to consider. The late hunt in there is one of my favorite hunts since it can range from physically brutal, incredibly frustrating, and absolutely spectacular all in the same day. Pray for some nasty weather the second week of November... Good luck
