Title: Gate on FR 1070 in Rimrock

Does anyone know why the (open) gate and threatening signs are on this part of forest road 1070?  Is there also one on the Cowiche side?

It takes you into Klickitat Meadows.  The Yakama tribe succeeded in closing it off to us.

Is there a mine towards the top of the 1070?
