Title: Still need some help
Post by: huntingdog16 on July 09, 2015, 10:23:31 AM: I was wondering if anyone would mind helping me. So for the last year I've been doing some scouting and have not seen any signs of a signal animal out there. Am I scouting wrong. I was wondering if anyone could help me maybe I'm just nto in a good area. I've been scouting a few places around skagit valley and cannot find anything. Would anyone mind pointing in an area with a decent deer population. I can drive out no more than 2 hours so anything within hours of burlington in skagit would be preferred. Thank you. I am scouting for deer if that helps any.

Post by: Buckmark on July 09, 2015, 04:53:56 PM: Archery hunt and hunt Whidbey island, fits all the criteria you have mentioned and you get to hunt the early season for the entire month of Sept and it is any deer, if that does not work out you get the entire month of Dec for the same thing..

Just not the animals there was in the 70-80s.
I don't even bother with deer in Skagit.

Three hours and you are over the pass and see all the deer you want.
