I got out this weekend and was able to check two of my three locations. My second location that was absolutely loaded with elk sign and just my luck, my batteries for some reason died after a week out so I had two weeks of no pictures. To make it worse, I switched packs to a new pack that morning so I forgot to move over my extra batteries. :bash: Decided to drive back down into town and get some replacement batteries and also put out more salt since the spot was cleaned out.

WOW! Buddy, friend, new pal of mine.... lol
Those are Awesome....

Really nice Bulls you got, the elk at my camera just destroyed my area, salt gone! Just cows, calves and a couple small bills for me. Great area you have!

First bull is actually on our private property and I have pics of him from last year and he has gotten bigger for sure. The second spot was completely torn up. I can honestly say I have never seen so much sign in single area in my life. Hopefully the batteries last the whole time so we can see how much more progress they make and how many of the spikes are still spikes.

I love the spikes, true Eastern WA trophies.

I had 4 or 5 spikes on that cam and it sucks that I was more excited to see them than the bigger bulls and bear.

Awesome pictures. I really like the one of the bull looking like its bugling. Very cool.

I have a few with his mouth open. I am still waiting for a picture of a bull bugling with steam coming out of his mouth. That is my trail camera goal! :chuckle:

Vandeman, I always carry spare batteries in my truck. I will have some free time this weekend and maybe the 2nd weekend of September. No problem with me going up to change batteries for you, just let me know how I can help.
Your friend, PD.

:chuckle: I always carry spare batteries in my pack but I just picked up a new pack and upon transferring all my stuff over, I didn't check the pocket with the batteries and forgot. Kind offer sir. Always looking out for a fellow hunter :lol4:

Is the second cam from the area I told you about or are they both from the property?

Neither are from umtanum. Didn't get a chance to make it up there after having to go to town for fresh batteries
