Title: First time deer hunting
Post by: Venicius on July 14, 2015, 03:29:24 PM
Hi everyone!

I'm going deer hunting for the first time and was wondering what permits I need for Gifford Pinchot National Forest. I'm planning on setting up camp but not using any of the provided camping facilities. Do I need a Northwest Forest Pass or something like that?

Thanks!

No, you don't need anything for national forest just your tags/licences.

Northwest Forest Pass is just to use improved  sites...  anywhere it is required will be posted with signage to that affect.
