We are going to give away some goodies periodically. I will list what is being given away along with a question or series of questions. First person to post the right answer or combination of right answers will get the prize! RAD/Savora will ship to any destination within the USA where USPS service is provided. After we post the winner on this thread we will send a PM to the winning member asking for name and address to send the goodies.
rule***MLBowhunting, Whackmaster, DRock and any other member with current or past company ties will not be eligible to win.
We ask that previous winners wait 24 hours before participating in another challenge.

My favorite new ferrule! We are very excited about this product line!
Question: We met Del DelMastro for the first time at our third ATA show if memory serves me well. He was looking for a new peep sight for a big hunt he was going on that year. What animal was he hunting on that first big hunt using our peep sight?
Double prize if you can guess which peep and aperture size he used on that animal.
Guess should be made as Animal - Which Peep - Aperture size. Only need the main question correct to win.
Prize = One package of TripleSec. HPV100 broadheads, one package of matching replacement blades and one Super-Deuce 38 in our new Orange. Winner may choose aperture size (1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32 or 1/4")

The HPV/High Profile Vented blade was a design collaboration between Del and RAD/Savora for use in the broadhead now known as the DelMastro HPV100. The Triple Sec. uses an aluminum ferrule and steel point rather than the one piece titanium ferrule in the DelMastro head. The Triple Sec. also uses a third locking point that is not available on the titanium version! Profile of the two heads are identical.

No clue but a stab in the dark, maybe Cape buffalo?

No clue but a stab in the dark, maybe Cape buffalo?
Good guess. But nope. That was a good bit before we met.
Shouldn't that have read, "No clue. But a stab in the Dark Continent,..." :dunno:

Kodiak brown
Nope. The brown was also just before we met.

Do you ever sleep man!
-
Peep machine can not run when temps exceed 80 outside. So with the weather we have had that means I run 24 hours a day when the temps drop into the 70s. Sleep comes when it comes!
Wife can watch the machine for short intervals if we don't have a big rush order going out. That allowed me to catch some zzz yesterday between 10A and 1P.
When my hearing was better I could sleep while the machine ran. RPM changes would wake me up. Now that I'm maturing...well, that doesn't always work so well!
Self Employment. It's the American Dream! :IBCOOL:

Looking at these pictures I'm wondering if I should be feeling guilty. Seems the moment we started working together Del's hair went grey!
I'm sure I had absolutely NOTHING to do with that :o :chuckle:

Nope. We recently spoke about getting him a Dall in NWT. So far none of those!

That makes sense, they say sleep when your dead!

Which probably comes rather quickly without it

This is my favorite thread so far. Del is a beast! Keep the guessing and pictures rolling fellas.

You got rid of the only one guess rule right?
-
You got rid of the only one guess rule right?
I did for this thread after the VanDyke one was not getting enough guesses. That may change on others so you will want to read the top rules in the future. Might make a one guess per hour or something like that as we go along. Sooner or later we will find the best balance between fun and challenge and then likely stick with it.
-
But, for now anyway...Hippo is a weiner, weiner!
Care to guess the peep sight and the aperture size to double the prize?
-
5/32?
-
Doh! It was a Maxim 38 in 1/4" aperture. :sry:
-
I knew it used tubing...
-
What aperture do you want in your prize peep?
-
7/32 please sir!!! I never win anything ever lol I'm super excited to shoot Savora

Rad, do you have the low down on what tackle he used on that hippo?

Rad, do you have the low down on what tackle he used on that hippo?
Man! I just had him on the phone a moment ago. Bow was a Pearson. I believe it was 100#. Carbon Express arrow with weight sleeves. Broadhead was a Muzzy Phantom of some sort.
I'll try to get him on here to answer better with specifics.

Rhino?
:chuckle: Hippo was the correct answer. Kyle1112 winner!
I spoke with Del a few minutes ago and he said he will try to get signed up as a H-W member tonight or tomorrow and answer the above hippo questions. If others have questions for him you might post them up and see if we can have him answer those too!
I also discussed possibly having a "Live Q&A" with him on here at some point. Sounds like that could be a possibility. Not sure what that entails. I'll likely talk to Dale and maybe ToddID to figure out the best way to do such a thing.

You got me excited RadSav when you quoted me but then said hippo was right lol
