I can hear the snickering now, but anyway. Last year I was at Sekiu fishing, before leaving I pulled a chart off the web. The first two days had me stumped, tide activity did not match the chart. So at lunch one day, I spied a older gentleman looking at a tide chart, I grabbed mine and walk over talk with him, as it turned out he had the same chart as me. He then proceeded to explain me that there was a 2 hour offset from the stated time. After this little gem of information, things worked out. Is there a tide chart that will give you actual local time for tides, or an app that will give you tides from your location? Thanks in advance...

Download the "Tides Near Me" app. It will pull up tides based on your location.

Unfortunately, there is no app for this one and you need internet access for your computer. However, it is good for planning ahead. It has tide stations to the ocean as well.

Skybuster this is the same website I pulled the chart from last year, and I still cannot find the time correction factor on their site, now does the app give you real time at local?
Thanks again, finding some new sites I had not seen before...
