Title: Sockeye is closed so targeted Kings
Post by: C-Money on August 01, 2015, 06:51:40 PM
Way less boats. Had 3 hits, landed all 3. 2 wilds released at the boat, 3rd fish was a keeper.  Got the net under it as the lure zipped by my head. Near by boats applauded my netting efforts.

P.S....I managed to release the wild kings without driving any hooks through my fingers.  :chuckle:

Tried Kings again at Brewster Saturday. No kings for us on this trip, but caught and released a few sockeye on king gear. The pool is absolutely loaded with sockeye. Tons of fish rolling. Hope we receive the rain needed to get these guys home to spawn.

Amen!  A good, wet 3-day cold front would be a godsend.
