Hi. Im 35 married no kids. Just a month now here but been hunting whitetails in new york for about 10+ years. Id be happy to show you the ropes of what I know. Might be different here in the west but a whitetail is a whitetail. I left my bow in NY but could have it shipped or ill buy one here if need be. How far ne? Im in west seattle. How long have you hunted or is this your first time? Where do you shoot your bow? Btw im not a trophy hunter that gets big bucks every year. Im more of a meat hunter and dont mind a nice buck if it happens. I come from an area where its mountain deer. Very few deer. If I see 3-5 in a season im lucky. So when you see one that is legal you gotta make it count. Never got a bear though. Seen em but not close enough for bow.

Any update on the property you'll be hunting? Hope the deer are still around when you come to the east side

I also in search of an archery hunting partner for this season since my normal hunting buddy join the military as is away at boot camp for the season. I have been checking the same area last two years and found a few small public areas that the deer travel between but it would be nice to have some company and farm land to hunt.

I am 29 will be 30 before early season ends and I am new married, 1 year. I am a first generation hunter, newbie, which has been hunting for about 3 years and learning from every hunt I go on. I am looking to hunt the same weekend but I have work on Saturday so I plan on leaving Saturday night and hunting until Monday afternoon.

I reserved a couple spots in the 101 up north for this final weekend of the early season. If interested in joining me, send me a pm
