Title: Finally checked cameras
Post by: Torrent50 on August 02, 2015, 08:25:18 PM
Finally got out to check my cameras and had this guy on one of them.  Unfortunately he never gave me a full photo to see just how big he is.  Moved the camera a bit so hopefully I will get more of him, but regardless, he's big enough to have my attention.

I am going to guess and say he is a rag horn. The height and diameter of the pedicles (I think that is what they are called) is not consistent with what I have seen on mature Bulls.

It's a Browning spec ops.  To be fair, it was set up right on top of a trail junction.  In retrospect, it was way too close but this is my first year using cameras so I'm learning on the fly.  I think (emphasis on think) that the spot I moved it to will have better luck.
