Dan Agnew's 2015 Arizona Strip buck

Monster buck!

Congrats, Dan
Thanks for supporting wildlife.

That sucker is huge!
-
Awesome animal.
I'd like to see this guy's trophy room(s). He has some quality specimens!
-
I'd like to see his bank account statements.

:puke:

Someone worth $3-5 million can easily finance those hunts in a responsible nature. This isn't hard to achieve for those who wisely and responsibly invest in their tax deferred retirement accounts starting early in their career.
-
What a beast
-
Good God !
-
Who and what is so special about the hunter ?
-
killer buck, congrats
-
What a dandy.
-
Very nice buck!

:yike:

Nice buck for sure!
I think he is the guy that killed a masher bull with Mossback a few years ago. He killed the last elk that was alive in the Blue Mountains. 8)

Beautiful buck!

Wowzer!!!!
Thanks for sharing.

Awesome buck! I look forward to seeing what the Strip produces every year, would love to tag along on one of those hunts sometime. Congratulations Mr. Agnew!

I disagree. The auction tag went for $320K. Dan Agnew won the raffle, but safe to say he didn't just buy a couple tickets. Hard to agree that those tags are of a "responsible nature" for someone in the $3-5M neighborhood, unless you're not looking to live very long.

:yeah: :chuckle:

I'd like to see him try a DIY OTC hunt and see how he does. That being said I am glad and thankful for the $ he pumps into wildlife and hunting conservation.

I don't know him personally, but don't you think he has? It would seem strange to me that he would spend that kind of money year after year on hunts like this if he didn't develop the hunting passion younger in life before his businesses and investments took off. I assume he's just like the rest of us, but he made the money to be able to buy incredible tags later in life. I could be 100% wrong, but I gotta think that's the case.

Masher for sure!

Beautiful mounts for sure. He is fulfilling the same dreams most of us have. Great Az buck Dan!

What a toad, would love to see those antlers hard horned and rubbed. Not a velvet guy at all, congrats on a stub deer and thanks for posting!

Awesome Buck... How nice would it be to have a an entire Governor tag thread run its course without someone complaining. Classic lines that always seem to come up. Feel free to add:
1. If I had his money, I'd kill big bucks and bulls like that every year too.
2. He's not a real hunter
3. My spike buck or little rag bull means much more to me on a DIY than hiring a guide and buying a trophy
4. I bet he couldn't even kill an elk or deer in my unit if he had to hunt like I do
It is what it is; nothing more and nothing less. Different strokes for different folks but a remarkable trophy to say the least
Hopefully this is the only negative comment in this thread.
Awesome buck and another great contribution towards conservation funds.

It really depends on how an accredited investors annual returns look. Being in that level of wealth opens up access to certain investments not available to us little people. If in a good year someone worth $3-5 million has a 15-20% return they can furnish a luxurious lifestyle, buy a hunt like this, and not even bite into the corpus of their nest egg.

See, you can buy a raffle tag! Awesome buck.
-
What a great buck! Congrats!

Not a velvet fan but that thing is a Toad!

Me either, but you are right, a Toad for sure. makes me think about starting a poll on velvet.

I like the looks of a velvet buck. Some hunters have velvet stripped and the horns stained, but I would keep them in the velvet and cherish a rack like that forever.

What a toad of a buck :) Congrats to Dan

Damn man!! That thing is awesome! Good for him!
At least you don't need to draw a tag to go out there and look for some of those monster sheds!
