starting to see this years pups ( grown now) out and about in broad day light looking for their own territory.

Had one thinking I was something also walking through the brush. He jumped out about 5-10 yards away and my 357 put 6 rounds in him before I realized 1 would've been plenty. Good thing I'd already heard him coming so I was ready or I wouldn't have a nice dog chew hide.
