If you received both of these in mail, does that mean you drew both areas? A friend of mine got both in mail and asked me about it. I'm clueless :dunno:
-
Yes. You drew in Quality bull and Bull categories. You can hunt for both. Just gotta pick which to kill an elk in.
-
One is bull and one is quality, can hunt both permits but only fill the one tag.
-
:yeah: tell him fill the peaches.

That's perfect, looks like he gets the first 11 days of September to hunt Alkali, before the Peaches Ridge hunt begins. The Alkali hunt is going to be a tougher hunt than the other one. So he can try to kill his bull on the Alkali hunt, and if not successful, he'll have 13 more days in Peaches Ridge.

If I had the time that's what I would do. Why not? You wanted to hunt both areas, and now you can. If you see a bull in Alkali you can shoot, or pass. I was there last weekend and saw elk every day.

Awesome. Thanks everyone.

This happened to me last year. Its sucks. Throw the alkali away unless you have time to scout it.you need to get a pass for the amry base. Which if i remember right you can only get on sunday. You can only pick three units at one time to be in to hunt. You can change but have to drive back out and make sure there's no training going on.. good luck.
