Looking into these boots and I am wondering if they are offer a rebuild service similar to Danner and Whites? I don't wanna have to toss $400 once the traction and soles are worn out.
-
Yes they do. But I've not had to have mine rebuilt so can not testify as to how it works out. I can say they are a rock solid boot.

They are a well made boot for sure. But I would recommend you head down to sportsman's warehouse and try them on first. Or if mail order wear them around the house for a while first to make sure of the fit.
I put a lot of miles and endless blisters on my heels before I finally gave up.
Everyone's foot is different so you may have nothing but a positive experience as many people do. For me it was an expensive error. I have nothing against them but I've moved on to Zamberlan and found a better fit.

:yeah: I have only put about 20 or 30 miles on mine and I'm worried I'm finding the same thing as CaNINE. My old Zamberlans were way more comfortable for my foot shape. I'm still hoping they need to break in a little. Wearing them around the house and town is great, but on the long hikes my heals start to get a few hot spots. Just don't let my wife know. She wasn't real happy about how much they cost in the first place :chuckle:
