Hi All,
I came out here in 2004 and fell in love with hunting. I am a DIY guy, the hunt to me is learning how to close the deal myself. The part I love the most is the adventure of the hunt. I've spent literally hundreds of hours preparing from this years archery hunt - in the salmo-priest wilderness.
As of August 20th, the area I was planning on hunting is closed. I'm pretty fricking deflated right now. It was a stretch just to afford tags this year (I just finished a masters degree in June).
It's time to formulate plan B.
For those who are interested in the closure - http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprd3851652.pdf

Good grief.... I didn't know they closed that up.... This sucks!
-
That's a tough go, but probably better for the good.
-
Just curious do the tribes have to honor these closures .

Sorry for you, PDR. On to Plan B---you still have a few weeks yet.
Congratulations on the degree!

Maybe it will open by Muzzy. :bash:
Doesn't really make sense. Not one of these fires have been caused by humans.

FYI: there is the Kanisku National Forest in that part of Washington that is 100% ran by Idaho. You can ride ATVs to without any B.S. from Washington too.
