Anyone have one? I have not found a lot of reviews, what do you think of them? I am considering a M48 Patriot in 28 Nosler, does anyone have one they would review?

I think elkaholic123 has a 26.

We have 2 patriots in 26, I'm looking for a 28 for my youngest son (21st birthday present don't have time to order 1 from them), the gun is on the heavy side but after shooting them this last weekend we really like them.
Here's my first target, shot 11 rounds cleaned and cooled after every round , first 4 were 129gr Hornady's just to get it close to X. I loaded 21 129gr ABLR ladder rounds, 3 rounds starting with 82.5 grs of H50BMG increasing .3 grs for 7 steps, all at max SAAMI length. I found out that 100yds is to close even for 7 different powder charges, will shoot the next 14 this weekend at 200.

There's a few guys over on the Nosler forum that have or are waiting on 26 or 28's from Montana rifle company, looking forward to there results. MRC are about $300 less than a patriot for the X2.

Thanks for the information and idea for Montana Rifle Co., I had not thought about them though I already have one of their rifles and love it. How would you rate the quality of the gun, is it worth the $2000?
Good looking target for just an initial/load work up target. I had the same problem with ladder tests in my .257 Weatherby. You will probably need to step out to 3-400 yards to get any real results, 200 is still too close.

I think they're worth it, we paid $1299 and $1499 (both off the rack sportsmans and cabelas), The gun shop on Gunbroker selling the MRC gun has a price of $1179, also has Nosler's.
