So far he is the only one but the two big boys been awall for few weeks so I'm sure there out there rubbing or getting ready too. Last six years all bucks been hard horned in my area by 9/1 sept one that lasted till the 3rd few years back

I have a cam very close to the tower fire. I hope it survives till it opens up and I can retrieve it

He's all rubbed up and dark now. Hopefully I can post a pic of him tomorrow.

Post by: fishnfur on August 31, 2015, 06:36:53 PM: While not a visual, I was scouting in Mason Co. today. I saw several new rubbed out./broken little 1 -2 year old alders that appeared to have been hit in the last few days. In a matter of a couple of days, they'll all be hard-horned I think.....

I'm still hoping for a shot on buck in velvet tomorrow AM.
