For all you guys that run licks can you put a guestimate on the age of this one? I've never used a lick so have no idea as to lifespan of this type...
-
Depending on amount of usage, it could be a week old or a two years old. I have had blocks like that go an as little as a few days. :twocents:
-
I'd say a month old but usage is the big factor.
-
I was kinda thinking a month based on the activity in this spot, I was up there 2 months ago but didn't go right in on this spot to look and don't remember noticing it there. :bash:
-
Old licks will have a large hole dug in the ground from the animals eating the dirt.
If the ground is level in area, it is a relatively new lick.
I would guess a month also.
-
Normally I would say not very old because it's still there but we haven't had any substantial rain this year really so who knows!
-
Doesn't seem to show much weather damage so im saying 2 months, FOR 500 BOB !! :chuckle:
-
This years. There would be a shallow hole if much was three last year.
-
3,423 licks

More licks than it takes to get to the center of an average totsie pop.
