Title: Elk Hunting from chinook pass question
Post by: jstone on September 03, 2015, 08:50:32 AM
I am going to hunt up chinook pass the second week of archery elk season. I am thinking of parking on top on the Yakima side and hunting around Dewey Lk. Question can i leave my truck there for a couple days or should i get dropped off for a couple days.?

Yes, you can leave your rig there.

I'd recommend buying a northwest forest pass as it is a yearly pass that is valid for there. Since you will be paying $5 dollars a day to park there, it is worth it in the long run.

Do not leave any valuables in the cars. The tweezers like to stop there overnight when they are on there way to the west side.
