Well here it is I haven't even bought a license or tag, so I still have the weapon option, after almost being killed in 364 , 8 years ago swore I would never missle hunt again, but the way the weather has been thinking on waiting for missle siloe season, and sit in a tree on private property, and hope nobody mistakes me for a large grouse, Ive got my dirty thirty , wich is the only missle launcher I saved, and I can hit anything with that overgrown 22, so there it is, really on the perverbial fence on this one, coarse there is that empty freezer thing too !!

Do whatever turns you on. It's fun to rifle hunt once in a while  and never say, "never"

I'm bow hunting WA and rifle hunting Idaho. Both are great.

None of hunting is without a bit of danger. I almost got shot 2 years ago by a muzzleloader hunter taking a shot at a bear between him and me. Good thing he hit the bear! He had no clue I was in the area. My geometrical calculations put me near dead downrange of the bear from him.
I had an arrow nocked while investigating a rustling and shapes in some brush last year and was ready to draw. Then the illegal brush picker moved a bit so I could see his face. I wiped myself and moved on.
Take your chances with the missiles. The danger decreases exponentially the farther away you get from a road.

That's how I had planned was to get away a bit but that might put me in the way of MR. perfect camping dad roasting who knows what ,and inclose me in roasting fires, but yes its all part of it but like everything else that keeps hatching its self on our hunting rights and freedoms and that's the only reason I keep looking at that darn 30 30 like its the answer to all my free space in the freezer right now. :yike: :chuckle:
