Title: Anyone put a deer down with a Magnus Black Hornet yet?
Post by: huntingbaldguy on September 04, 2015, 03:50:32 AM: These were new this year correct, so this is the first year anyone has hunted with them? Curious how they've performed for people or if anyone's downed a deer with one yet.

I put a blacktail down with one. Was a pass through. Good broadhead, pretty pleased with it so far and they group well with my field tips.

Best head I have ever used, and I have shot and killed with alot of heads. Not to mention the customer service is the best I have ever seen. 100% replacement gaurantee. I have had 3 heads replaced now for free, the one I killed my deer with hit a rock after passing through and they replaced it no ?s asked. Even sent me a new hat with it. You just cant go wrong, they fly like darts and are retarded sharp.

They have the original Stingers. (longer overall length with main blade a smaller bleeder blades) the New Black Hornets are shorter in length and much thicker. I will try and post a pic when I get the chance.

Correct, but the main blade is much less elongaged. The Stinger is more elongated in typical arrowhead form.

Post by: ridgefire on December 21, 2015, 12:28:33 PM: Love their warranty. Been shooting the snuffer ss for a few years now and have had great luck with them. Just bought some black hornets but have not had a chance to shoot them yet. The 125 looks like a pretty beefy head though.
