Going to get around here soon and head for Westport for the week end. The last hora for the summer, plus our anniversary trip. 37 years.. 3 days of having fun, and fishing for sea bass. With any luck (besides getting lucky) we should come back home with 60 sea bass.

Instead of fishing (well watching Lady Nutcracker getting sea sick, not fun for either of us) we walked down to the boat launch to watch the show down there. Had Becky in stiches laughing. Even had one boat not get his plug in tight enough. They got to the breakwater then beat feet back to the launch with two of them bouncing on the bow. Hell if they sunk the Coast Guard wouldn't have to go 300 yard to get to them. Funny than hell.

I forgot to put the plug in once. Lucky for me I launched, and tied to the dock to park my truck. when I got back I noticed about 2 inches of water on the deck. Turned on bilge pump, and was able to reach far enough down to put the plug in without too much trouble. We all have rookie moments.

These guys must have been true rookies. They tried to launch their boat with the stern ties still on. Dang good show. Then we had one guy drive his boat on his trailer 6 or 7 times with his trolling motor. When he finally got it on the trailer, he pulls everything out of the water with the motor still running.

Really good fishing off the windmills a lot of kings in 45 feet limited and back to the dock with 3 limits by 9;30 the last 3 days but fog and now poor weather for a few day might be to sloppy for bass Tony. Called in 4 bulls behind the house Tony came in to 20 yards might go up and watch the action Saturday holler if you come down.
