Went in at 5 today and sat in the blind with the wife. 630am a pair of deer come in, a spike and a doe, both about a year and a half old. Decided to let them be and they milled about for 20 minutes and left. 30 mins later an even younger pair come in, followed closely by the same pair from before. They chased each other around the bait pile for a half hour then they all left when the button buck was making raptor noises. Not sure what that was about. 20 minutes later another button came in real slow. He ended up staying for like 45 minutes just enjoying his alone time with the bait. We were waiting for him to go but he didn't want to so we started packing up. He ran out but circled back and came within 5 yards of me just being all curious like.
We went back in to dump some more corn about 2pm and a good doe with a spotted fawn was there. Wife had her bow but we didn't want to kill the doe and have the yotes get the fawn later on, so we let her walk. Tomorrow we'll be out all day, but i think seeing all the deer today kind of put my wifes nerves at rest about it all so she won't be so antzy tomorrow. Good day but we want a bigger doe or a buck.

Sounds better than my past few days. the BTs over here are kinda slow. What deer are you after?

Seeing does and small bucks keeps you in the game. I saw nothing Friday morning after 3 hours of still hunting in reprod. Good sign, no deer.
About time for me to go back to go fishing again.
