Hello to all. What is your usual dress out if you are gonna go scouting? I am planning on scoping out a place this weekend, I'm bringing my bow just in case i see something, but i dont want to be head to toe camo (lol, that rymes). Am I out of my mind, or is it an honest question. Also, how many of you will scout/hunt in jeans and a camo top if the weather is pretty warm? Would it even be worth it to scout/hunt black tail if its pretty warm? Once again, tell me if I am on drugs or not. Thanks for reading.

I usually scout in what I hunt in. But that's mainly because my hunting clothes are my most comfortable clothes.

I scout in my camo as well but I dont think it matters much.

Usually just whatever I'm wearing. If it's a gray T shirt and jeans, no biggie. If raining, I wear camo because that's what color my rain gear is. Otherwise, don't think too much about it. Have to wear orange during season anyways, and tons of deer are killed by the orange army every year.

for the area/time I'm gonna be in, hunting orange, to my understanding, is not required. But you are right but people getting game while wearing it. I'm just glad that people are sorta agreeing about the whole camo thing.

Camo only but always have orange in my pack for the pack out. Leave anything black at home during bear season. Also, blue jeans are highly visible to deer and elk. It has something to do with the colors of the spectrum that are visible to them.
