I was sent a picture from a friend who's co worker drew a kapowsin tag. 9x11 380 plus monster.
I don't know the guy so what is the etiquette for posting a pick?
-
IMO, if someone forwards a pic without asking for no more forwarding, it's public domain....... But then, I really want to see the monster!!!
you might ask your friend who sent you the pic??
-
Ah....the etiquette for posting a pic you say...
Post it up if you aren't going to step on anyone's sunshine!
-
The guy that shot it sent the picture to his coworker. There was at least 10 other numbers in the forward I got.
-
Post it.

And he said go for it???????
-
Post it! Everybody knows that once you send a picture it's public property! Lol
-
If you dont then someone else will. You should totally be the cool one to post it first.
-
It's so big and nasty. Jim Burnworth would call it a record Rosie according to his show filmed in Eatonville. Lol
-
Come on man!!!
-
I heard about it too. I bet someone else has pics of it that they could post. I don't have pics.
Highside, someone might beat you to it!
-
I have a big secret, I don't know if I should tell you or not... it wouldn't do any harm to tell you, but I don't know if I should tell you because I'm not sure if I'm supposed to or not.
Well, now that I've told you about this secret... I probably shouldn't tell you, because now I'm nervous.
Sorry I brought it up, dont worry about it...

-
I've seen pics as well. He's a local kid and went to school with my family. He's all of 400" gross
-
Incredible!! Congrats to the hunter!
-
What a beauty. The nice thing about the big bulls in there are they have that feature where there antlers form the "crown" at tbe top that you could set a ball in. This one is fantastic.
-
Nice bull! My frinds and i were just talking about how nice it would b to have that tag. Ps please tell me how your quiver got emptyed?
-
Just asked him. He's not a member.
-

As long as that bull was standing, I would empty my quiver as well. Not sure the exact story
-
Exactly Id empty that thing out on him haha! The story's great... But he is not a member, never know he may join someday just to clear the air and rightfully share his bull and what went down. Pics just don't do it justice what so ever tho lol
-
pretty sure he only takes 1 arrow with him :IBCOOL: cause that's he ya need :chuckle:
-
WOW, fantastic bull.
Congratulations.
-
He drove through town with it. Lots of folks talking about the antlers sticking up out if the bed of the truck.
-
He measured at 410 from what I have heard!!!
-
403 is what he said last night. Had it re measured by someone a lot better. On my way home tonight passed him and he still had it in the back of the truck :chuckle: texted him and he said he was having a kick out of everyone's expressions.
-
I don't see how you can get 9x11 out of the points. Sure would like to see a picture that shows that.
-
Since it's all over Facebook anyhow. Here's another pic of it.
-
Think he's gunna need a bigger truck :chuckle:
-
Holy hell
-
Wow!
-
That's incredible, nice work!
-
Beastmode! Congrats to the hunter.

For all you folks that come from Montana and Wyoming and the likes, yours are all raghorns, compared to what we have here in Washington state! :chuckle: But shhhh, don't tell anyone!!! Nice animal, Probably gonna be tougher then wang leather! Send me some meat, and maybe I can gnaw through it.
-
The bull scored 409 gross I think. Its a 8x9
-
It's a dandy bull
-

I sent a message to the young man that harvested this bull. It deserves to be on the cover of a magazine! I also sent a Private message to Ryan Hatfield (editor of Elk Hunter and Western Hunter Magazine ) and in less than a minute he replied saying he was Very Interested in the Story. Hopefully Jake is rewarded with a sweet magazine cover story!

-
That thing is stupid big. My envy level is maxed out. I would retire from elk hunting after something like that.
-
Nice work blacky!
-

That beast deserves to be!
-
Wow, I don't think I could pull my bow back, I would be shaking so much. Stud of a bull.
-
No magazine cover = less people coming to Washington to hunt. But it sure is a sweet bull and good for him what he wants to do.

It's a pretty good bull also. Friends with both of the guys that drew the tag.

Leave it be? Why? I messaged the hunter privately and he expressed interest in having his story in a magazine. What are you honestly worried someone from out of state might come and shoot your trophy? Some of you are ridiculous. I merely suggested this to him. Jake and his elk make the cover, he ends up with a pair of swaro bios for the story. All these people are crazy to think we are going to see an in flux of trophy hunters taking "your tags"? Get real. I'm trying to help a fellow Washington hunter capitalize on his success.

Ryan did a real nice job on my bull in Elk Hunter. Tough enough job competing with older established magazines.
Thanks again Ryan if you are reading this. "Once in a lifetime"
-
I'd love to have that bull on the front cover for a pair of Swarovski's, I would surly do it. The area is private and you need to buy a yearly pass for 375.0 (currently) to even have a 6 in 1,200 chance (when they sell out). And you have to do your homework to find bulls like that, I've hunted the property for deer for years and never saw a bull that big. Publishing the bull won't hurt anyone's hunting. I hope he wins the bino's, that would be great. He also should travel with the sportsman's show when it comes around, doesn't the winner of the antler contest win a quad???
-
I bet Hancock sells out next year just because of that bull.
-
anyone notice the empty arrow quiver ? Must have taken a few arrows to anchor this giant !
-
I bet Hancock sells out next year just because of that bull.
They sold out along time ago JR. Used to be 10 bucks and that was just so they knew the who what and why.
Maybe some libs will turn it into a petting zoo :dunno:
-
Not sold out but the draw is over. Awesome bull, condrats! Dream bull.

-
 :IBCOOL: :yike: That's one hell of a bull!
-
Holy sheet. That thing is disgusting!!!
-
That is a narly looking bull. I'm surprised he'd go euro mount on that thing. Anyway, he did himself proud on that guy.
-
Just because there isn't a cape on it doesn't mean he's not doing a shoulder mount
-
Note to self... If ever entered into a witness protection program don't let anyone see a big bull you kill.
-
Here's the other bull. Don't know the guy personally, hope he doesn't mind.
