I am looking at the regulations and it is very difficult to tell if I can hunt dear there for muzzy season. The federal Website referred me back to the state website which in turn referred me to the federal website. Anyone have the answer?

Its not open for deer hunting.
-
it says it is with a state issued permit. But no further info. So is that a special draw hunt or how does that work?
Deer Hunting – Deer hunting is allowed on the
Paterson and Whitcomb (including Crow Butte Island)
Units with a special permit issued by Washington State.
These permits allow the the use of muzzleloader or
archery, depending on the special permit successfully
drawn, in accordance with State law. The permit
specifies the dates of the hunt.

We drew last year but did not see the tag this year.

When hunting on National Wildlife Refuges read-up on the refuge regs. Possession of alcohol while hunting is illegal, baiting of any kind is illegal, etc.

So it must be a draw, by permit only. Wish they weren't so unclear in the regulations. I would love to hunt in there.
