Winter wheat is one of the top picks for ducks.  What type of habitat do you want to create? winter feeding, nesting habitat, migration pit stop, year round habitat?  Check out ducks unlimited website for lots of articles and information on habitat.  Some of it depends on your soils, and how much land you have.  Also your local farm service or  soil conservation district can help with making the best choices for your specific land.  They often have free help from soils specialists that can do a walk through and help you create a plan.   hope that helps a little.

If you put in a runway, you may get flocks of geese too!
