The short version, I'm going through a divorce. She pulled some dirty crap, which really screwed up my fall. I chose my girls over hunting. This week I had a couple days so I just shot with my camera. I got some good critters I'll be posting up. It's comforting to know I still get "to hunt", though it will be limited this fall. Thanks for the support everyone.

Right choice Bone, absolutely the right choice.
There will always be another deer but you will only get one "shot" at raising your daughters. There is nothing in this world more important than that IMHO.

Definitely a trophy, mass and great tine length! If he had a bigger spread that deer would score VERY VERY HIGH! Good looking buck, thanks for sharing. Nice pictures as always.

Hang in there Bone, You are taking the higher road in caring for the kiddos, did the same here, but different circumstances likely.
Keep up the photos...maybe you need some helpers in the field? Let the kids see what amazing things are there when you get off the road. Remember to make it fun and it will produce a bond that will amaze you.
Take care of YOU too...you cant take care of kiddos if you are not right.

And that deer is calendar worthy for sure, he is lucky you are taking the year off, so are your kids. Solid move all the way around.
-
Mr. Boneaddict is as good at raising kids as he is at finding big bucks. Hat off to you sir.
-
Bone,
If you get the latest calendar up and running I'll gladly support the cause. Sure love 'em!
-
Bone, If you need a change of pace and scenery you and your daughters are welcome on my porch anytime to watch the whitetail.
Thanks for the bucks and more

It sounds like you made the right use of time, you only get one shot at raising your kids.
-
Sorry to hear about the big D. I hope you manage some time in the field doing what you love. Keep your chin up!
-
Thank you very much everyone.

You're in for a long and terrible road. I wish you the best with endurance. Focusing on the things that matter is step one and you are well on your way! Breaks my heart that someone else has to walk this terrible road.
Don't know how far you are in the process but if you need any advice from someone who walked it, shoot me a pm.
BTW, beautiful buck
