This dumb bear put a claw through the sensor on my camera. It's still working, but I'm sure it won't last for much longer when the rain starts and fills it up with water. The bear ended up moving the camera about 1/4 of the way around the tree it was strapped to, as you can see in the last couple of pictures.

Quit baiting those bears with your camera..... :chuckle:
I'd just put a dab of silicone in the hole and see what happens, better than leaving it open. :twocents:

Yeah, I was trying to think of something I could use to plug up the hole. It's a small hole so shouldn't be too difficult. Hopefully it doesn't rain much between now and next weekend.
I did get a couple pictures of the intended quarry:

How do you like the 35? I bought a couple this year on sale and so far they have worked out great for a cheaper camera. Reviews on longevity didn't look to promising though.
Great pictures!

you could try some shrink wrap window insulation over the censor. I don't know if it would Work but it might be worth a try. 3m makes indoor and outdoor versions as does Duck.

I think they're great cameras. I get tons of pictures with them, they don't miss anything. Sure wish I would've bought more when they were on sale for $25. :bash:
I've got two that I've been using for about a year and a half now, and they always work great. If I needed more cameras I'd buy more of these if I could get them for around $75.

Thanks, I'll look for some of that.
