Ok needs some guys with experience to chime in. I picked up a internal frame for a wall tent for a smoking deal from a yard sale. Its 14x16x5. Now its time to buy the canvas, but I have read that buying an untreated tent could be a bad deal due to the shrinkage. Is this really that big of a concern? Or should I save myself the headache and get a treated canvas tent?

first of all most wall tents are at 120 degrees so i hope your angles are also unless you got adjustable ones...i say save yourself the heartaches of getting an untreated tent....treated is more forgiving to moisture..but still need to be diligent intaking care of it..woulnt buy one..my 2 cents..do yourself a favor and dont go that route!!

I have a Davis get that I absolutely love. I'm glad I got the treated. I wouldn't get an untreated tent, especially when's oh consider the additional cost is negligible in the cost of the whole set up.
