My dads elk hunt from Sept 16 in Colorado. He hasn't shot an elk in 23 years and was extremely excited over this one.

Yup, there goes that " They bounce off hide" theory I read now and then :chuckle:

Nice! That puts my mind at ease...I love them for the accuracy and precision I get out of them, never hit an elk with one though. Last whitetail I shot with a 300gr aerolite was at 75 yrds, double lung complete pass through, exit was ~size of a quarter. Blood trail was excessive.
