I was lucky enough to watch two bulls in a full out fight from close range some years back. It is one of those things that can not be fully appreciated until you see it up close. Amazing animals indeed.

Thats too bad. Gorgeous animals! The worst part is the homeowners probably got into trouble for shooting the bull that was struggling to breath.
I saw a cow last year that was hit by a car. The back half of her body didn't work. I thought about putting her out and something told me not to. So, I went to the next town and called the forestry service. They said they'd send a ranger to take care of it. I offered to go back and put it down and she told me that was illegal. It isn't like the animal was ever going to recover. Putting it down was the only humane thing to do.

I have put deer down out of state that we hit and others that had been hit by a car/truck. It's the right thing to do, I would be shocked if the owner got charged.
