Looking to buy a night force. 5.5-22x56. Any one know of the cheapest spot to pick one up.

Sniper hide.com if you don't mind a slightly used one. You can find pretty good deals on the optics classified section. That's where I got mine.
I think NF might do price controls. Seams like prices are pretty much the same wherever you go.

i got mine at euro optic for a decent price. I was in Wenatchee the other day and stans merry mart had a smoking deal on them. Might want to check them out.

Thanks. Will do

Check Optics Planet. Make them an offer - they are willing to negotiate but probably less so on NightForce products. You can pick-up Vortex items for SIGNIFICANTLY less than their listed price, even their sale price.

I'm looking at the night force. For long range shooting. It's going on a Weathery. 338-378.

Food for thought. I'm not sure which 338-378 you have but I had a Accumark in 338-378 with a NF 5.5-22x56 on it.
Went through multiple sets of rings trying to keep that heavy NF scope from moving around after a few shots. The combination of a heavy scope with a fairly heavy recoiling and somewhat lightish big boomer made for a tough combination with regard to anchoring that NF in place without it moving around after a few shots.
Ended up using a Near Mfg base with their alphamount ring setup and it never moved again. Near isn't cheap but they make excellent stuff and Richard is one of the nicest guys you could ever deal with.
