This wasn't even reasonable. Did everyone who saw the fraud think that the deer rubbed on nothing but whitewashed picket fences. And that toupee, I have seen better on a politician.

Pretty bold statement for someone who was not involved. As the article stated, the pros could not find how that rack was attached to the skull until after they talked to the perpetrator. Honest mistake, it happens, the perpetrator fooled everyone. You can't find any fault with the scorer, he was tricked. Calling for him to be barred is ridiculous.

Take a look at the photographs that were posted online even before this was exposed as a fraud. The buck looks like it has a fake toupee glued to it's head and the antlers are white. People were calling this out long before the authorities got involved and the clown doing the official measuring is at best a hack and more likely an accessory to fraud. I gotta say I agree, thats clearly the body of a young deer, nothing in the picture looks right and someone holding it with their own hands should have known better. Stuff like this really ruins it for the guys who earn their name in a record book.

Who cares? It's a story. We don't have to call for someone's head every time we read something on the internet we think is outrageous. None of us were actually there when the taxi did his thing so we can't know anything except what we read.

I was in the presence of a set of resin antlers that had been mounted with a cape from somewhere. It was all my wife could do to keep me from exposing the fraud for what it was, but the antlers on that mount were a cast made from a buck that was taken in Montana and I had seen this same stupid stunt pulled multiple times before with the same set of cast antlers.
In this case here it is so transparently obvious that this whole charade was a scam from the get go that it screams for people to call the idiot out.
