Senator Kirk Pearson from the 39th Legislative District is running for reelection, and is holding a fundraiser in Monroe on October 19. A large turnout of the hunting community would be a great show of support for one of our friends in the legislature. The fundraiser will be held at this location:
Lord Hill Farms
12525 Old-Snohomish-Monroe Rd
Snohomish, WA 98290
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
There is probably no committee more important to the hunting community in Washington than the Senate Natural Resources Committee. Senator Pearson chairs this committee. He is a friend of sportsmen and a solid advocate on issues critical to hunters and firearms owners.
A show of support by hunters and sportsmen would make a strong statement. Even if you can't attend the event, please consider sending a campaign contribution. Any amount helps. He doesn't have an online option to contribute, so it will need to be sent snail mail. The address to send a contribution to is:
Kirk Pearson for State Senate
105 Pearson Ln
Monroe, WA 98272
Please note that if you choose to contribute, Public Disclosure Commission rules require that you provide some basic information; anonymous contributions may not be accepted:
• Contributor's name
• Contributor's complete address
• Contributor's occupation
• Contributor's employer
• Contributor's employer city and state
• You may also add a note that your are a hunter, which strengthens our community as hunters.
Thank you for your support of Kirk Pearson.

Bob33 hit the nail on the head with the above statement. Nothing is more critical to hunters than a friend as chair of the Senate Natural Resources Committee. Senator Pearson is a friend of all sportsmen. He was one of the Hunters Heritage Council's "Legislator of the Year" for three consecutive years and he was awarded "Legislator of the Year" awards from several fishing groups also. There will be three new appointees to the Fish and Wildlife Commission in 2017, so we need to keep Senator Pearson watching our back as chair of the Senate Natural Resources Committee.
Please consider supporting Senator Pearson as Bob33 said.

Pearson is also one of, if not the leading legislator in the legislative investigation/review regarding the WDFW Enforcement Program's "issues"....

My check will be in today's mail! Thanks for putting this out there

Support the legislators that support us.
Step up to the plate ... belly up to the bar ... it's time to support those that support us.

I am from the other party but can tell you that Kirk Pearson is a strong supporter of our outdoor heritage and right to keep and bear arms and strongly deserves the support of hunters and fishermen.
