Title: Scott Brewer Custom Wildlife Art
Post by: ahuntnfool on October 08, 2015, 06:10:22 PM: If anyone used Scott Brewer of Custom Wildlife Art and did not receive there animal back contact WDFW Officer Mike Sprecker at the Spokane office. Fish and Game have confiscated items from the defunct business and are trying to return those items to there rightful owners.

I had Custom Wildlife do a Mount for me back I the late 90's. He was extremely slow due to the fact he was more interested in doing life scenes after he made the front cover of the Mackenzie Catalog. Almost 24 months to get a Whitetail back seem a bit much. I will say that he did do nice work, but other taxi's I have had do mounts are as nice and the return time is by far less.

Good guy :chuckle: I use to be friends with him and worked with him in his shop... we had falling out and along with alot of others and to say he was a good guy is laughable. He was a prick! Was his work top notch? yeah it was fantastic and taught me what to look for in a taxi when I take my work places

Had a few sour deals with him as well. Definitely not a "good guy". He is a Thief and a crook!

Funny the anonymity of responding to a thread, instead of approaching me face to face, man to man! FYI for all the critics out there, I chose to serve Naval Special Warfare abroad and wish I had been able to finish the projects for my customers but that disappeared with me mentioning to a customer (whos brother was a Game Warden) that my marriage was falling apart, the same Game Warden chose to go to my house, confront my wife with that information before I had told her, she then filed for divorce and had a restraining order placed on me, couldn't come within 1000 yards of her, my house, my shop. I had no control over squaring away my customers until the divorce was over and F & G had taken everything, lost the house I paid for and any ability to try to make it right with anyone. Always more to the story than you think

I regret that i couldn't square away my customers and understand some actions, other actions were outside of the scope of responsibility and should have been handled better.
