Title: Camping on Feel Free To Hunt.?
Post by: HUNTNORTHWEST on October 10, 2015, 05:13:03 PM
Anyone have any experience with camping at the parking areas designated on the Feel free to Hunt lands? Not sure is this is a big no no or just something you may have to get permission for. If anyone has any experience with this please fill me in. I couldn't get a hold of the regional office to ask.

I have seen people doing it, I personally wouldn't do it.  They are allowing you access to hunt not camp out, it could turn into a uncomfortable position to be in if you are approached.  If you can find a phone number on one of their signs you could call, and ask as well.

If it was me I'd make sure I had permission to camp also.  But, that's just me.

Ive seen it done myself with full on travel trailers and big setups. Im thinking those guys had to get permission. I just need to figure out how to get a hold of the land owner to see if I can set up a tent for a weekend or 2.

Many of the access program signs will have a point of contact on them.
