Title: How's it supposed to work...?
Post by: 270Flat on October 19, 2015, 10:43:18 PM
I picked up my son from school and took him to a spot that holds deer. Since it was two days after the madhouse it was more about enjoying our time together. He was excited to be hanging with dad. We get to our spot and hike in using the wind In case there is something holding in the draw and if someone walks in the main route pushing the deer. We sit 150-200 yards from the escape route and small feeding area. We are there for an hour and a half and some guy who cannot miss us walks right up within 100 yards of us and sits over looking the draw. I know it's tough out there with all the hunters but if I ran into someone in "my spot" I'd move on. I guess that's why I hunt archery. My son asked why did he sit so close to us? We had a good time and that's all that matters. But it gets frustrating. Rant over. Good luck everyone!!

Sad to hear, but a good teachable moment on how not to be a rude, self-centered, inconsiderate hunter.  Good luck for the remainder of the season.
