Was down there today and there are big new signs saying "No Trespassing BNSF private property"
Has anybody heard anything about it? There is going to be a lot of upset bank fisherman if they close it down. :'(

LOL. I was just there Saturday afternoon. I'm not surprised. I always thought train tracks were private and do not typically allow public access. That said there were a couple dozen of us there. Cars parked along the highway even.

What side of the river? East or West?
-
I was on the east side.

Hey Brad!! Asetechrail is Kent!! Was wondering which side the new signs were on. The east side is Union Pacific. BNSF is on the other side of the river.

Railroad police chased everyone away Thursday.

Hmmm. Thats not very good, Wonder what brought on this sudden need to run the fishermen off?
If you have a rail line that parallels the river for miles and miles does that mean there will never be any shore fishing?

Theft and liability.
Even something that people think is worthless like the rail road tie nails that fishermen use for break away weights the railroad folks want. They are having issues with bigger things but mention even the small stuff. As well as liability for train collisions with vehicles, gear and even people.
