Title: Here is why you visit Yellowstone....Not for the fishing!!!
Post by: quadrafire on October 22, 2015, 05:54:20 PM: A trip to Yellowstone in fishing terms a bust, but the other experiences were an A++.
Great company, weather and experiences.
The Griz waded into the water not more than 40 yrds upstream from me. I had time to dash to the truck for some awesome pics. These are just a sample.
Not a fan of the traffic jams that are caused by timid drivers waiting for bison to "get out of the fricking way", just give'm a nudge ;)

I had a friend warm them up a bit, made a big difference

More folks than I would have thought for mid Oct. But the weather was so nice probably a last hurrah for the season. Several things including many bathroom facilities were already closed for the season.

Rad we were stopped in a "bison jam" watching that cloud formation. Interesting how it morphed over several minutes
