Title: Do we need to worry about this legislation?

Just came across this. Wondering if it's on our radar yet our if it's nothing to worry about?

It wouldn't hurt to contact your congressman and oppose it.

not in all cases, as was discussed in another thread recently. Usually, all it takes is a special trapping permit to use certain body gripping traps. But, aside form that, this is for federal land - that would mean any federal land throughout the country.

We have to remember that any reduction in trapping (or hunting, gun, voting, etc.) rights will most likely never be gotten back. Every little step in the wrong direction is that much closer to the end.

Also, not everyone in WA traps exclusively in WA, with most surrounding states allowing the general use of body gripping traps.
