So I am set on hunting the 568 GMU and was wondering if anyone had information on it? I know exactly where I am going now, just wondering if there's anything I should know.
-
Theres some great elk country there. If you know where your going then you're starting off right. Good luck and we want to see pics

I am heading out there as well. I just know the entrance and that's it. I'd take all the luck I can get as well. :)

Good luck, I know how wet that country gets. Bring your best raingear!!! :hello:

Without the Weyerhaeuser permit its kind of slim pickings as far as access to the areas the elk tend towards. If a guy has scouted and has his eye on some elk then it can be good. If going in cold it will be tough. Its very local to lots of folks and they keep close tabs on the elk in there.

The NE corner of the unit is NF and can hold some elk. A bit steep though...

here is a link to a map: http://wdfw.wa.gov/webmaps/gohunt/gmu_pdf/GMU_568.pdf

Forgive the ignorance, what is NF?

So I lied. 560 is the GMU we're going to. Near Cougar. Anybody have info on it or anything I should know?

560 will be pumpkin patch but I may dive into it myself. It is a huge area though.
