I changed my mind, and I'm planning a trip to the swakane. What are the road conditions up there usually for late archery. Is it a good idea to carry tire chains? Thanks
-
Tire chains on all four if you value your safety !!
-
Chains are a must. We see a roll over about every year.
-
Ok thanks for the responses
-
Even if there isn't a lot of snow those roads are still usually slick and slimy that time of year.
-
Yes on the chains no matter what
-
I thought they gated the main road down low this year.
That country scares me.
-
ya those roads can be a bugger! does any know if you can ride a side by side on those roads?
-
Hey had a few roads open but closed them

:yike: wow, must take a lot for an area to make you worry that much

Chains are a must.....Snow up top right now which means ice and/or mud will be present at all times. The mud is almost worse in my opinion.
