Congrats on some tasty eats.
Do you have anymore info on the bulls in the back of the truck? How many and how big?

I have heard of one dude who was shooting at a spike and killed a 6 point, He supposedly immediately called and turned himself in. South Quilimene area I think.
You could not pay me enough to be up there during rifle season. :yike:

We saw one big 6 in back of game wardens truck and he said a big narrow 7 came out the day before, both from same spot, a 1X2 was also taken out and the guys that got busted for that had their guns taken away.

I assume this is a true spike area then? I can understand confiscating guns for the big ones, but a 1x2, that is harsh.

That unit isn't true spike is it ???

Yes, it is a true spike unit. I've heard that several illegal elk were shot during modern season. As for taking the weapons it depends on the circumstances, if they turned themselves in they would most likely get a ticket and lose the elk, if they tried to hide what happened and got caught with or without the elk and the enforcement officers can prove the case, they have the authority to due much more, like weapons and vehicle confiscation. They can actually take whatever they can prove was used in the commission of the crime, including guns, optics vehicles, tents or trailers, knives, pretty much anything. It really depends on how much of an jerk you decide to be towards them.
