just wonderin if anyone has any info on any hide buyers besides brady from pateros just wantin 2 get a little more money for the bobcats than a buck and a quarter or maybe not.

Do you know how to put up your own furs? It would be something worth learning if you are planning on catching many cats. Nobody is puting out big money for fur this year unless it is super heavy with excellent color.

A buck and a quarter is actually a good price for a bobcat pelt. Unless you are getting some real big toms they are not going for much more than that.

I just read the latest Extreme Predator magazine and it reports the average price in the West for bobcat pelt to be $370!!! I don't know where their info comes from but there's a BIG difference between $370 and $125!!!
On top of that they list the top price for bobcat pelt to be over $800 and the demand as strong. . .in comparison their take on coyote pelts is closer to what I have heard on this forum. . .$37 for top price and about $16 for the average with the demand being selective. . .

The guy in pateros is only giving $125 for a bobcat?
-
You guys are thinking high end prime furs for top dollar. Very few eastside cats will get top, but no westside cat will even come close to that.
$125 average is probably good.
