Title: 37 1/2" Mulie from Winthrop
Post by: Shannon on November 19, 2015, 09:31:53 AM
I stayed in Winthrop one night while trying to fill my Pogue whitetail tag and I came across a women that had shot a really nice 37 1/2" buck. Her husband said it scored over 200". I didn't get any pictures but it was a really pretty buck. Nice and heavy. I was wondering if anyone had some good photos of this buck that they could post. Really nice couple and I was happy for her. Very nice buck for anywhere but especially this state.
Post them up if you have any pics please.

Kickers out both sides and a long dropper.

He said they were not seeing much and had spotted a 3 point that they had decided to go after. While making there way to the 3 point, the monster jumped up...........and sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Did it happen to be 34 3/8" from outside kicker to outside  kicker?

I've seen photos but they aren't mine to share.  Definitely a monster.  I wouldn't doubt it's a 200" buck for a second.

For sure. He has been there so long he was the inspiration for the character from Monty Python. If you make it past him you will be in deer hunting heaven....however....the Black Knight also roams the area.

That's the one. Thanks for posting it. I wanted to see a field pic. I've killed deer over 30 and close to and I would say cheater to cheater 37 1/2 doesn't look to exaggerated to me. I didn't stretch a tape on it though in the back of there truck.

Did the husband send the pics to Cougeyes himself? If not... is he really pissed at Cougeyes or the person that leaked it originally?  Seems like a lot of folks on here say they had seen the pic before it was posted. :dunno:
